Moms for America???

 I received SC Congresswoman Nancy Mace's newsletter today. She reported on all of her meetings with different organizations.

Included was a note on her meeting with Moms for America. They honored her with an A rating and a spot on their Mom’s list.

As far as her A rating from Moms for America, well good for her for promoting White Nationalism, as the Moms "reclaim our culture" and stop "Critical Race Theory’s invasion in American classrooms." 

I'm sure she knows that the only thing teachers have tried to do is update history and remove the white male lens from what was taught in the past.

I wrote to her and said that it's important that children learn about all aspects of our history, not just the good things that we did. Bringing the impact of blacks into that discussion doesn't just include the fact that a black man invented the cotton gin, leaving out the contribution of a woman and slaves who provided input to Eli Whitney. They should include other contribution by African Americans as well as the crimes committed against them by racists, such as hangings by KKK and the Tulsa Race Massacre. 

If you read into the Mom's website it's a propaganda machine for Far Right Wing conspiracy theories, touting that the legal subpoena of Trump's residence to reclaim Government documents constitutes a war on all American Families, etc, etc!

I am a Mom and am a proud American. My father fought in 4 invasions in WWII and served 30+ years on the police force. I would never join a group with such a skewed view of the world! I ask Nancy Mace, "Where is your centrist view to appeal to the majority of your constituents?"

If she truly supports the sentiments of that organization then I give her a resounding F.
